Arborfield Tutoring is run by Kate, an experienced Primary School and Prep School teacher who is currently on a career break to look after her two young children. She has a current Enhanced DBS check.
Kate offers tutoring to families in the local area who are looking for extra support for their children at Primary School level. With many years' experience of teaching children in Year 5 and Year 6, Kate can provide expert tutoring to children from Years 2 to 6 who are finding school a challenge, or who are working towards the 11+ or a similar entrance exam.
Kate's specialist subjects are English and Maths, but she is experienced at teaching the full Primary Curriculum.

What We Provide
Maths Tutoring
Maths has always been Kate's favourite subject to teach: she enjoys helping her students to develop their confidence and improve their understanding of this important subject.Â
Whether your child finds Maths a real struggle and needs help to get going, or enjoys Maths but wants to aim for the top marks, Kate has the experience to ensure that he or she makes the best possible progress.
English Tutoring
Kate's experience of teaching English in the classroom covers the full range: providing challenge and stimulus for those working several years ahead of the expected level; and supporting and encouraging those who find Reading and Writing a challenge.
Wherever your child is at, Kate will provided personalised English materials to engage them with the subject, and help them to develop their love of the written word. Her encouraging and supportive tutoring will enable your child to make excellent progress.
Other subjects
Kate can offer tutoring in subjects across the Primary curriculum as necessary. Please contact her to discuss the details of what you require.
A small additional fee may be required where custom materials need to be prepared for bespoke tutorials.
